Looking back on an epic marathon of characters in SHREK
For anyone who missed SHREK last month, here's a snapshot of my track during each performance and a commemorative countdown: (9) costume changes, (8) witch accessories, (7) roles in the play, (6) wigs, (5) pairs of shoes, (4) pairs of gloves, (3) puppets operated, (2) green faces, (1) run of the show!
The handwritten notes are a detailed list of my costume changes I had to write out during tech week so I could keep track of the insanity - pieces, props, make-up needs, locations, when to move things from one side of the stage to the other etc. It was a wild ride but worth every minute!
